Canon is superior to pentax in general. Sure, you don't get the IBIS crutch and its various gimmicks you'll never use, but you get vastly superior lenses, superior colors, and superior autofocus. At the cost of having to know how to shoot a panorama properly and use an equatorial mount for the rare occasions you do that. Oh, and where IBIS is most important, telephoto lenses, pentax can not drive in lens stabilization, which has the most dramatic effect on keeping the image stabilized with long focal lengths. Kek.
