Chimping, pixel peeping and being obsessed with MP count doesn't make you a better photographer.
This is one area in which I unironically enjoy using Panasonic or Olympus cameras - the fully articulating screen can be left closed, and you can just focus entirely on the moment right now, instead of what you just did.
