Sometimes snow definitely should have some more of the color cast of sunrise, like pic related. This morning was very soft on color with the fog and sky looking a near true light grey to my eyes, only the barn and the hint of warm hue in the sky had any real color. Had I shot it on a slide like Provia without a warming filter I bet it would have looked a bit blue as it was early morning, but with negatives you have to set your white point.
