>>4270201>more height, smaller package All those extra sections and rigidity/reliability trend downward while its weight goes up, I've had Manfrotto and Sachtler tripods that simply did not fit in backpack bottle pouches because the center column base was too wide. Height is irrelevant, unless I need something that fits in a carry-on suitcase my next tripod will have no more than 3 sections.
