Mostly because I already used the shittest gear for years now. rusty aluminium tripods, welding glass as ND filters, my Nikon D80 for the longest time, in combination with the cheapest pair of lenses aviable on the market (manual nikkor 35mm / 50mm)
I still want to try out medium format photography tho. I mean I already have a folding camera, but it's kinda outdated to use. The Nikon D800 has been one of my dream cameras for years now. Maybe I'm just a dude who got brainwashed into newer cameras, but a man needs to have dreams I guess
