Meanwhile in reality, Cosina Voigtlander has officially diverted 100% of their research resources into the Sony E-mount.
The recently designed APO Lanthar is the highest specification lens in the history of the company. And that's quite a statement to make. And the rumors say they will continue to go in that 1 direction, Full Frame mirrorless.
Zeiss is similar, new development money goes to E-mount, while DSLR gets the occasional new Otus design(But this is rare and sparse).
(It's only a matter of time before Canon/Nikon joins mirrorless Full Frame, and then it will be too late for the other smaller companies like Fujifilm)
The Chinese/Korean companies like Laowa and Samyang still have their bets on both horses(dslr/mirrorless), but they ultimately agree that Full frame is the way forward.
Meanwhile other Chinese companies like SLR Magic is betting 100% on E-mount.
That's pretty much it, all of the money goes to Full Frame.
All the computer calculations goes towards Full Frame.
