So I've been shooting film off and on for a few years and just stuck the exposed canisters back in the freezer until I could get around to it. I've finally taken the plunge into home developing, and it's almost more fun than shooting. You get to see your images appear, and if it's been a while since you shot, it's a suprise what was on it. Here's an example. I shot it with a Canon Elan 7NE with a 50mm f1.8 from a hotel window. I know it's a snapshit with a shitty scan (a6400 w/ Minolta 100mm f4 on a tripod), but hopefully I can improve my scanning and processing workflow.
Mostly I wanted to encourage anyone on the fence about home developing to give it a shot. Black and white isn't hard. There's an initial expense, but it's magic to see pictures appear on your film.
