By choosing Micro, we literally won 40 Gramms total weight (micro 956gr vs. Sony A6600 997gr) and 16mm lens length (Micro 84mm vs. Sony 100mm).
If that's worth it or not, you have to decide for yourself, IMO this will only really matter with bigger lenses, I'm talking 400-500mm effective focal length here.
And yeah, your argument "this isn't a FF era any more hurr durr" when talking about a cropped Sony A6600 is kinda amiss.
