The whole crater was in darkness except for the rims of the smaller craters Clavius C and D which looked like a crescent moon and the astrological symbol for Aries.
It was hard to get a good picture/video of it but it was really cool to look at visually.
It was a good observing session. I saw Rima Hadley for the first time which is a 80km long and 1.2km wide channel the meanders in the valley south west of Mount Hadley.
David Scott and James Irwin visited it with the lunar rover during the Apollo 15 mission.
