Or the same price, with a much better sensor, ie: 100mp with curved microlenses and 20+ stops of native dynamic range. But because videotards rule the market (despite none of this even once resulting in better so called "content" from so called "content" "creators") instead we get the arbitrary decision to lower the base iso of penislog, 4k120p with a slightly less severe FOV change, and a price hike for a proprietary applel codec.
It's like the megapixel wars, but worse, because there is never going to be any benefit. All the vlog, bootleg, and corporate HR videos these cameras are used for still looks the same. Nobody stands in one spot and admires the detail in a single frame of video. Videotards should have just been buying camcorders.
