If you tried to make Panasonic 25-50mm f1.7 on ff format, it'd be four times larger and four times heavier, and four times as expensive. That's why you don't see this design tech on larger format. It's possible, but so expensive that only cinema lenses are made in it. In fact, weight is even prohibiting auto focus. This design is only possible on mft format.
