his lighting is gorgeous and large format is just beautiful. He has a very cohesive body of work and a style that's recognisable. a lot of the draw is in the fact that he does shoot famous people, but that combined with his style sets him apart, there are technically gifted photographers, like art streiber, who can light a set brilliantly but their work feels soulless.
