im gone for a week and you niggers completely derail yet another thread with this sigma vs zeiss bullshit once again
>dontmindifido>letsbegin>>4137981>>4137983>defending TokinaTokina is just like Tamron. they are both exactly the same when it comes to their product lineup and history
both companies made like 4-5 sony/nikon/zeiss/leica tier lenses in the past, bathed in glory and then dove right in, into a pool of shit and now make chinese trash just like Sigma, Samyang and 7Artisans. the only two Tokina lenses still worth mentioning in the current year are the 2.8/100 atx-i macro and the cine line 50-135mm T3.0 atx
>>4138001>2.5/90mm>blown out contrast>harsh/sharp shadows to the point its unfixable in post>sudden/harsh color transitions to the point its unfixable in post>always blown the fuck out whites and highlights unless you underexpose by almost 1 stop>a good lens!that lens is trash and always was trash. its even worse than the new piece of garbage that sigma put out couple days ago, the 50mm 1.4 (f)art dg dn lens. that 50mm 1.4 sigma is the exact same shit in a more modern form factor.
>sigmaat this point in time, the only good thing about sigma lenses is their sharpness and the fact that they are low aperture lenses offered for a low price... thats it. the image quality is absolute shit and thats a fact.
>sigma samyang tamron tokina 7artisans laowa lensbaby viltrox sirui etc.when $20-50 lenses from literally 100-150 years ago make better pictures while adapted onto your snoy/canikon, compared to your brand new 2023 sigma lens, then you should probably start to realize that you have a shit product in your hands
>pic related taken on a 1930's hasselblad-zeiss lens with only 4 glass elements in 4 groups>look at it>compare to a 2023 sigma with 20 elements in 15 groups that cant even render contrast, color trans, shadows/highlights properly>realize your 2023 lens makes shittier pictures than a 1919 lens>start making excuses and coping
