Foggy mornings and deep red-orange sunsets through the humid atmosphere give you a variety of good light conditions to use. The things you will struggle with is that the majority of the land is private, but you can always try to find scenes from the road (even better if they are quiet rural dirt roads) and maybe you can politely ask a few landowners for access if you see a subject that is particularly intriguing on their property. Sure you don't have the sweeping vistas like the west but you have the locals' advantage of time and regional knowledge to create strong images in that area. Or, you know, just take a vacation out west when you get the chance.
>>3331280Hitech, which I guess is now Hitech-Formatt or whatever. I use the resin ones which are rather affordable, though they can scratch easily. I'm ridiculously hard on gear and consider my filters to be a wear item. I did break down a few years ago and get an over-priced Sighn-Ray 3 stop reverse GND which works perfectly for just the right scenes.
