it's a clinical lens. its super sharp, rarely if ever flares, and is pretty faultless. but it also doesn't have any character. it doesn't have any special rendering qualities like other lenses may exhibit and people seek out.

i'm not saying it's a bad lens at all...just it doesn't give you anything beyond sharp images with nice contrast.
