3) I have a 4.5-5.6/75-300 lens that I have never learned how to properly use. Is it a good lens for the camera I'm using? What kinds of shots should I be taking with it? What are some things I can do that I couldn't do with a wide-angle lens? What are some ways people have used it for street photos/urban landscapes that I should consider? I always feel like whenever I'm using it everything feels too zoomed in, so I kind of just thought of it as an autistic zoom lens and didn't really use it much.
4) I have an HVL-F36AM flash that I never learned how to use. What can I do with it besides pretending I'm a crime-scene photographer taking pictures of trash or abandoned buildings? Is it good for portraits? I tend to like to take pictures of dark areas with longer exposures so I never bothered much with it. Is it possible to get it to fire independently of my camera or use it wirelessly with my camera model? Is there way to use it with some kind of wire? I've taken good photos using my phone flashlight as an external light source so it would be great if I could do the same with this flash, but it won't turn on unless its attached to the camera and being powered that way.
