>>4126923>Won't using a glass introduce a. newton's rings to the scans and b. doesn't the holder's thickness also serve as to position the negatives in the sharpest possible point (for scanning negatives at least) on the glass platen?I am unsure about the newton rings, at least I don't notice any difference when I scan the negatives directly on my flatbed scan, even without using the glass is just a bitch to get them not to move, but I only scan b&w I am not sure if color is going to be subject to it.
Tested the Pararodinal that I made with a roll of Kentmere 400 that had lying around, pretty cool that it actually worked. But I should have used a 1:50 dilution, 1:25 gets too grainy.
Or maybe I over agitated, not sure and it was like "fuck it lets seem it even works" anyway.
