Poorfag, I just pulled the trigger on pic related. I've had some close-up lenses the last couple years which are fun but they're pretty shit. Did I just fuck the fuck up? The Sigma and Tamron 300mm macro is nice because of the zoom capabilities, but they're very slow (like ƒ-5.6+) and the Pentax maco is like $600.
It does have a rather narrow DoF but the shots I've seen are impressive
