I'm not sure what the best thread for this is, but I think I have a few gear related question. I have no experience with photography whatsoever, but am interested in taking it up as a hobby and have an opportunity to buy a used Canon T3i with included zoom lens. Granted I could get this option for a bit cheaper than I see online, would I be well served by it or would I be in over my head from the get-go and better off buying something cheaper and beginner oriented? I know little about this camera and nothing about what lens as of right now, but I would be happy to answer any questions if anyone would be willing to offer me advice here.
