>>3357705How far away are you from the nearest dark place? You can actually take a decent pic of the milky way pretty close to the city. If you're in the northern hemisphere the milky way will be in the south sky. I took pic related at a vista point on the mountain road 5 minutes away from the city. I was able to get it because the city and the majority of the light pollution was to the north and behind me.
