I'm buying a compact camera and am currently looking at the TZ100 or the TZ200. The massive optical zoom and amazing video options(4k and all that jass)... I intend to use it for basically everything. Sports(grappling footage and football while I play), photos and videos while traveling, photos during football matches(that is why I like to zoom so much) etc.
The TZ100 and TZ200 both have excellent optical zoom and viewfinders... My other option, the Lx10, has similar video capabilities but relatively bad optical zoom.
Now, I've heard that the optical zoom comes with some tradeoffs, such as less good in low light as well as worse for "wide shots" (what does this mean?).
Thoughts on the TZ100&TZ200 compared to the LX10 and say... the RX100 m5?
