*But*.... I'd recommend getting the 25mm simply because it's easy, light, compact, reasonably priced and it's not too bad in the dark - it's suitably sharp wide open.
I wouldn't really advise the zooms unless you had a very specific use case for them (it might even be worthwhile to look into Panasonic zooms).
17mm is a bit of a boring focal length, I feel. I have no experience with the 45mm f/1.8, but I do have access to that focal length, and it's great for a lot of shots too.
If you really are looking at wide angle, consider the 12mm f/2.
Pic rel is a "rare" example of the 25mm in use. I just use telephoto a lot more now.....
