>clearly taken without their consent or awarenessAs usual, you have no idea. people with your mindset never do.
You must be one of these retards who can suspend reality and assumes i am invisible.
Reality is that almost all of them see me, and know damn well I'm photographing them, I haven't actually *needed* to give anyone a card for ages; they already know my site. I make a point of making eye contact with and smiling at everyone possible, so I know that they know.
Sure some people don't, and many that do try to make it as candid as possible because that seems and usually looks cooler. But thats why candid almost always looks better; people are being themselves in motion, not statue posing.
Stop trying to make it sound insidious because you are selectively blind to all of the other people I also shoot. People who dont explicitly indicate that they want me to shoot them. Conversely; the female teenage segment is the only segment that DOES often say they appreciate me shooting them.
Exactly like last weekend: the two girls who came from sydney and spent the morning looking for me...Among other 'shoot me plox' requests that I always appreciate enormously.
As a weekend photographer I'm not going to refuse to shoot subjects who often appreciate it, and essentially possess all of the local talent to be stylish AND photogenic in interesting ways.
