Here are three portraits from a recent shoot I did. I'm just getting into portraits so I'm looking for (preferably constructive) c&c on composition, skin tones and anything that comes to mind.
My LR preset for 4chan removes all metadata, but they were all shot with a 5d2 and a 85mm 1.8, mostly in manual mode using spot metering to meter for the face of the dude if anyone wants to know the technical bit.
The AF system on the 5D2 is a bit shit and missed a lot of nice shots but I knew this already so I tried to refocus for 2 or 3 frames for each composition that I wanted to snap and shamelessly chimped like a chimp to make sure the AF was not fucking me in the ass too much.
The dude in the photos is very happy with them if that means anything.
