One explanation could be they have a different implementation than Sony.
Another explanation could be this Stemmer Imaging is downplaying the technology because they are behind in their offerings compared to for example Sony Imaging. Hence it would make sense that they grasp at straws to sell more of their FSI sensors.
But we know for example the A7iii has even better SnR than the D750 as well.
So you are forced to accept one of the flowing:
-Sony has the best processing
-BSI results in lower noise than
