Question: I want to know how stupid I am.
I started to shoot films 8 months ago bcs DSLR is broken. I shot with disposable cameras and a Minolta X300.
I'm only shooting BW films, and I'm both developing and printing in a lab every single films I shoot. I have now around 250 postcard prints at home, and I would say 50 of them are actually satisfying.
When you shoot films, are you supposed to develop them, then check if the pictures are good, then eventually print? Do you even print at all or digitalize everything? Is it worth shooting films if you don't have a scanner at all?
Is it even more retarded to develop in a lab, somehow check the negatives if the pictures are interesting, then ask the lab to print specific slides?
