i do photography 100% for me, even if it's for a client. they want to work with me because of my style so i'm going to stick to that style.
to the last sentence, that's how it is. i used to take a lot of standard stuff but you'll see more and more people surrounding you that do the exact same thing and you get self conscious.
not every music photographer is going to get their start by shooting underground punk shows or their friends' bands like me. not everyone is original, even if you're submersed in an artistic industry.
