I bought a Canon 600D for 30€, it has no battery or lens.
By a stroke of luck I found the original owner (the person that sold it to me was a re-seller) and she told me that she experienced Err 20 after doing lots of rapid shooting.
The mirror and shutter both look alright, but the damper foam on the left side is cut and hanging down
Would my thinking be correct that it may not be a dead shutter but the mirror sticking on the damper foam causing the mechanism to go out of sync and produce that error?
And if that is the case, am I right to assume that a firmware flash along with correcting the issue with the damper foam might very well fix the problem?
