Nothing wrong with that, but they're then ranking results subjectively in their little categories nonetheless, and that's wrong no matter how you look at it. Detrimental to lens manufacturing as well. Its ignoring artistical output, so you get super sharp lenses that fly through all their tests, but they'll have zero character and pathetic bokeh. Luckily, it appears trend is moving around them lately. A ton of art lenses on kickstarter, some true classics coming back, and you see primary manufacturers following them as well.
