Back in high school we used Canon Rebel T3i's in our video productions class. I wanted to continue filming after graduation, so I bought one for myself because I enjoyed the feel of it. Its been sitting in my closet for a couple of years up until 3 weeks ago when I started up photography as a hobby. I haven't followed the trends in cameras and was wondering how outdated my Rebel T3i is at this point. My kit includes:
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6
+ an assortment of lens hoods, uv filters, Bogen tripod, and a battery grip.
I think my camera can get me by for a while, but if it is outdated I would like to upgrade to something more compact. I find that the body of the camera is just slightly too cumbersome.
