Again, don't let the camera set exposure, and pay no attention to the meter. Take a shot with NO sprocket holes or film holder included and check the histogram. Set exposure so you are up against the right-hand fence. Oops, I forgot to mention, do a custom white balance on a blank negative first (the orange mask only). The reason being, the histogram in-camera will show a color channel blown if it's too far off, and you want to maximize the exposure to minimize the noise.
