I was experimenting with it to see what it looks like because I had no idea what it would look like, how hard it would be to shoot, etc. I might try it without the shallow depth of field, but I would like to isolate the objects. I think I lose the sense of painterly photos when the backdrops disappear though, and I like the texture this "satin" sheet has. Maybe I should've chosen a dark red.
