Japan essentially classifies outsourced labor as "meat robots" (which is what they are); their overseas factories are like Japanese coloniess. It's been their insidious modus operandi since losing WW2: if they couldn't take over the world through military might and soldiers then they would do so via making quality products and salarymen.
So, the next time you buy something because it's "MiJ" (or anywhere), it technically might not be because the laws are as loose as a retired okama's boipucci.
I don't have problems with stuff made by Japanese companies, or, at least I didn't before (everything seems shittier than I remember it regardless of place of make). I know that the japanese overseer is a harsh slavedriver, that ensures that shit will be done more or less right.
