I just had the idea of shooting an interview as a project of mine. I'll have to ask the questions, but I don't want to be on camera or mic. Would you rather read the interviewer's questions on-screen, or would you rather have the subject reiterate the question? Constant reiterations might get tiring for the subject. I wouldn't mind having someone else interview the subject, but I don't know any good candidates, and I'm too broke to hire someone professionally.
I'll have to use my phone as a b-cam. I'm not looking forward to this, but I have to use what's available to me. Same goes for my LAV - I don't have a boom yet. What are some things to look out for when using phones as a b-cam, or when using a LAV? I'll be making a gaffer tape triangle for the LAV, and I'll be plugging it into a field recorder. Thanks for reading my blog.
