>>3314909...This is the same lens and Teleconverter without the extension tube. The distance is a little closer, maybe 20-25 feet, not sure. I was able to use a much lower ISO and still get "okay" action shots hand held without a tripod. This isn't a macro setup, but it is being used like a macro setup. The DOF is still pretty thin, but manageable. This would be good enough for slow moving macro stuff, using short extension tubes, if it is a nice sunny day. I didn't even max out the distances for min-max with this lens in these images.
