Hell yeah, more people should get to discover the night sky with binoculars. I would wager a very small percentage of the population ever truly gets the privilege.
If you're in the northern hemisphere, you're in lucky. The milky way is rising pretty close to sunset now and there are TONS of nebulae and galaxies you can see with those binoculars. Do yourself a favor and learn to find the Andromeda galaxy. There is a very humbling moment where you realize you're looking at an entirely different galaxy millions of light years away. It's just a gray blob from where we are, but through binoculars you can still see the bright core and a fuzzy oval shape swimming in a sea of tiny points.
