Just bought an XE2 off Craigslist, kinda impulse as I really shouldn't spend the money on a Fuji lens so I'm stuck with adapting some of the vintage glass I have collected. I'm planning on buying a Minolta MD adapter, Canon FD, and a Canon EF mainly so I can use my EF to M42 adapter.
I got a question though, what is most enticing of Fuji glass for me is the compactness of not having an adapter, even the MD and FD adapters are the size of a prime lens. What mounts would you recommend I look to that would offer a small flange distance and thus a smaller adapter? I know of M39 but I doubt I'll find a M39 lens for much cheaper than native X mount glass.
Also I would love to find a good ~24mm prime lens. 35mm is my favorite focal length in 35 equivalency.
