>>4081318Thanks for the advice! Read way too late but ended up doing a lot of the stuff you recommended. I started just south of Bangor and on the first day went to the quarry ruins of Llanberis, then up to Snowdon (My God, I remembered why I hate popular peaks - the crowd up there could as well star in a circus) and down on the other side. Unfortunately took a wrong turn (the southern descent is crazy intimidating at dusk) and had to walk 12 km after that to my campsite
But the view is really nice from up there; lots of lovely landscape in horrible orange and teal
