>>4020665>Dont mind it being heavy and large desu.you would think that but it's so much larger and heavier than the 18-55 that I bet in real life you'd choose the 18-55 more often. in any case you should get the 18-55 first and then choose to get the 16-55 or go primes or whatever it is you decide.
the "kit" zoom 18-55 is such a useful tool because after say a couple months of shooting only with the 18-55, you then filter your photos and make observations on which focal length you chose most often with your zoom. the purpose of this is you may find you have a natural preference for a certain focal length. and the 18-55 is a win-win because not only is it great optically but should you choose to sell the 18-55, you'll get what you paid so long as you take care of it.
