>>4324501Generally I prefer a higher contrast look to my plates, so I sort of am aiming for the vibe, I guess. This plate in specific I was maxed out on flash and aperture, so I had to just be okay with this look.
I know that I'm not underdeveloping because I time my development and keep the dev very consistent. 30-40 seconds is the recommended time and it is what I aim for. If I go over or under that you lose a lot of contrast and the images start to look foggy, drab, and dull. It may also be my flash set up and subject matter producing very contrasty images.
It's kind of weird to show a still image of them because they're so glossy, and the highlights sort of glow when you look at them from different angles.
