Anons i need help, mostly because i want to develop my negatives at home and scan them somehow also at my place (to reduce the costs for shooting film). Well right now my biggest issue is the scanning part. I got a Nikon Coolscan LS-30 from someone i know for free, the only problem is that i don't fucking know how to connect it to my laptop. This thing needs a SCSI-Controller, which is as far as i know only possible to connect to a mainboard, which is of course problematic if you only have a laptop.
A solution would be to buy a cheap and old Desktop PC with Windows XP installed.
Since i don't want to do that right now i'm trying to photograph the negatives with my Nikon D7100 and a really shitty tamron objective. The results are really bad and look way better from the scanned files that i got from the photo lab.
