Oh, and DIY chemistry, the freshest part of it being phenidone that expired in 1990, picrelated. The Dmax is always very close to neutral, as it should be. Sometimes a bit blueish, but that happens on lab processed film too. Point being, you don't need an expensive setup with lots of bells and whistles to process E6, it's barely any more complicated than C41
