>>3190404Oh man. 2.5 hours flew by. For the shadow effect, I traced over the shape of the face with the pen tool, then masked with a Solid Color adjustment layer. I selected a shadow color that was already present in the image and used a Soft Light blending mode.
I've been paying more attention to face shape, and Ive been trying to minimize facial imperfections while keeping the shape of the face realistic and accurate.
