Not sure if this should go in the gear or stupid questions threads, but I imagine I'd more likely find the right person here.
Anyone have an Olympus Trip 300? I'm trying to open the battery cover on this one and it's stuck.
I don't know if that little notch in the corner is supposed to be some kind of latch or weird design choice. I can't find a manual, and there is one Youtube video literally just swapping the battery and I *think* its a hook, and there's a hole in the corner of the cover.
I'm thinking it's a bad late-stage battery leak and the crystalized electrolyte is jamming things. However there's no sign of electrolyte mess on the outside. This camera is otherwise in perfect shape, so I hope things aren't bad.
