i shot chrismas dinner with mitakon 65/1.4 on 50r. manual focus with such a heavy lens is gruelling because you have to turn the ring with the same hand that is supporting the lens' weight

maybe it would have been cool to shoot from closer to the trunk and aim upward, to get the upper part of the tree fading into the darkness
