>>4034180Yeah, smartphone cameras have come a long way, and they are usually ''good enough'' and much more convenient than even the most compact apsc camera with pancake lens combo. The thing is, when you want to take photography a bit more seriously, even as a casual hobbyist, they leave a lot to be desired and are very limited. You can't do astro, macro, portrait, wildlife...and what it does do alright is still BTFO by most entry level aps-c cameras from the last 5 years. Like what the fuck is this? It looks like it has been put through 8 different filters and then upscaled by 8X, it has that plastic, artificial soulless look that everyone instantly attributes to a smartphone photograph.
