Either way I do not own any of these cameras and am looking to purchase one for myself, again primarily for moody portraits like pic related. My absolute max budget is $700 and I’m looking to get the best bang for my buck by buying a body and a lens and no kits. So I guess what I’m asking for now is recommendations from anyone who has any.
Also, DSLR or mirrorless? Does one type typically have nicer sensors? Or is the biggest difference that mirrorless can be more compact?
