>>4158292>X100V is sharper up close and better overal while being much more compact makes it obvious Fuji wants to prevent people make their own.The reason the X100V’s 23 is smaller is because it doesn’t have a mount and the leaf shutter is built into the lens. Also, AF motors are better in the XF 23.
As for optics, I’ve never had problems with sharpness and it’s plenty contrasty. No way to tell them apart in actual real world photos. I’ve owned both.
