What do photographers think of this style? I know some guys who do these kind of obscured nude photo-shoots with their girlfriends/dates and post them as stories (temporary) on Insta, or print them out as posters and stick them on walls in the city.
They deliberately obscure the face and some of the nudity to make it more anonymous and "artsy". Also, they try to make use of shadows and colorful lighting (usually red blooms) to make it more "special". They say they're exploring sexuality and intimacy.
I'm not sure what to think of it. It doesn't really seem to have a point except to be classy and sexy; which is fine, but not really art so much as a social game or personal fantasy fulfillment.
Pic related, but not as obscured as the kind of pics I'm talking about.
