It's not weather sealed. It only works on old dslr EF lenses. Canon won't give you an option of using RF glass. Technically they are compatible. It's just that marketing has no desire allowing people using RF glass on EF-M. And it's pretty inconvenient as well. You're fitting large lenses, to a large adapter, to a small camera. Adapters are a nice lure for people that already have EF glass that wish to jump to mirrorless. When buying into a new system, on a clean slate, you mainly look at native lenses.
